Poppy seeds and oil can also be found in the kitchen and are a favourite with many recipes for breads and cookies.

Propagating Poppy Pods (How To Grow Poppy Pods)

Firstly you will need to have poppy seeds in order to learn how to grow poppies. You can easily purchase them from gardening stores or even online. They can be sown directly into your garden whether it is in a pot indoors or in soil outdoors.

For beginners, we highly recommend your learning of how to grow poppy pods indoors at least 7-8 weeks prio to the last cold frost conditions in your area. Start by planting poppy seeds in individual containers or pots so that you can allow sufficient space for proper root growth.
